Why stock goes out of step
- An order on WhatsApp takes the last unit, but Amazon still shows it in stock.
- New stock arrives, and Amazon is updated a day late: sales lost while it showed 0.
- Several people update counts in different places, and nobody knows which one is right.
- Cancelled and returned orders put stock back on the shelf, but not on Amazon.
How one stock count works
- 1Every product's stock lives in one place, with a history of each change and who made it.
- 2Amazon orders come in by themselves within about a minute, and take their units out of stock.
- 3Orders you take on Instagram, WhatsApp or by phone are added in a minute, and take theirs out too.
- 4Purchases received, production batches, returns back in stock and counts all go through the same history.
- 5Every change is sent to Amazon within seconds, so Amazon always shows what is really on the shelf.
Self-ship, Easy Ship and FBA
Self-ship and Easy Ship orders are packed from your own shelf, so they take from your stock and Amazon gets the new count. FBA stock sits in Amazon's warehouse: SyncFlow shows it beside your own, but does not count it twice.
Picking and packing the day's orders
With every order in one list, the pick list shows each product once with the units all of today's orders need, and warns when there is not enough on the shelf before you start packing. The packing list then shows what goes in each box.
Questions sellers ask
Does SyncFlow update my Amazon stock by itself?
Yes. Once your Amazon seller account is connected, every change to a product's stock in SyncFlow is sent to Amazon within seconds, and Amazon orders take their units out as they come in.
Can I use it for orders outside Amazon?
Yes. Orders from Instagram, WhatsApp, phone or your own website are added in SyncFlow and take from the same stock, with GST invoices and packing slips. Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra and Shopify are next.
What happens with FBA stock?
FBA stock is kept by Amazon, so SyncFlow shows it separately and does not send it or count it as yours on the shelf.
